It may feel counter-intuitive to cut out some of your services and clients.
“Won’t I be throwing out good money if I do this? ” you may be asking.
But some amazing things happen when you align your business with your genius. Here are a few:
- You’ll be doing what you love all day long so you’ll radiate more joy.
- This will increase your confidence which will quickly instill trust in potential clients.
- You’ll become more discerning and better able to sense which clients you shouldn’t work with.
- You’ll have more free time, feel calmer and more in control of your life.
- You’ll have more influence and make a bigger impact.
Does this work with any business?
Now you may be wondering if this can work with any business and I want to tell you that it will. All that’s required is a mindset shift.
When you build from the inside out you’re harnessing your inherent creative power.
You’re using your natural skills and abilities…the things that come easily to you and that are part of your makeup.
I got to test this out in my second career in Financial Services after I moved to San Diego, California.
At first I tried to do things the way they trained us to do, but it was awful. We had to make x number of calls each week and use scripts that sounded far too salesy to me.
I struggled like crazy for 9 months and only made $9K during that time.
I finally said that if things didn’t change in the next 3 months, I’d quit.
From then on I stopped using the scripts and spoke to potential clients naturally and from the heart.
And that’s when things started to change very quickly.
I signed up a number of affluent clients and to my surprise, ended up being the number one producer in the company in my second year, beating out many veteran advisors.
There’s something much deeper at work than what we see on the surface.
When we decide to live more from the inside out, it’s as if God, Source, the Universe, conspires to set things up in a way that gives us the opportunity to share our unique gifts with the world.
My financial success bought me the freedom to go independent and ultimately led me to coaching women, which I realized I was born to do.
